I’m Gregg Peterson. One of the many joys in my life is photographing people. I specialize in weddings, couples and portraits. Capturing the beauty in any moment is my inspiration.
It is an honor to capture the many emotions and expressions of love, gratitude, and appreciation that people experience, recreating through images the magic of memories for your future reflection.
Each day I am more aware that my life has led me to this very purposeful career and I am enjoying every moment of it. I received my first camera when I was 12. At 16 my brother and I built our first darkroom. At 21 I received a degree in film production.
For over 10 years I worked on documentaries, commercials, and corporate projects. I co-produced an award-wining documentary “Out Loud” which was aired on PBS throughout the country.
Whether it is local or a destination wedding, or you are on vacation and want to capture some amazing photos with your partner or family, I realize how important these special and intimate moments are, and for me it would be an honor to document and capture these joyful times.
My artistic abilities go beyond photography. I was a professional ice skater competing in couples ice dancing for six years and then in 1992 I traveled throughout the US for a year performing with Disney on Ice. I am also a trumpet player and competed and performed nationally in Drum and Bugle Corps.
This precision and focus to detail is the foundation of my commitment to my work in photography.
